I know you can't give honey to infants, but I can't remember when it's considered safe. Is it after they turn one?
Have you tried gripe water or gas drops? They were a lifesaver for us. Also, look into paced bottle feeding techniques, it can help them swallow less air.
This is a developmental phase. Their sleep cycles are maturing. We read 'Precious Little Sleep' and it had some great tips. It does get better!
That's a great question, I was wondering the same thing.
My pediatrician said to let them sleep! As long as they are gaining weight properly and have enough wet/dirty diapers, you don't need to wake a sleeping baby. Enjoy the rest!

Every baby is different, so what works for one might not work for another. Don't get discouraged!
